CAS Timeless Elegance Butterfly Box Frame Card

Another of my quick shares over the next few days... I have been working on re-producing some of the classics but with new & current papers ...

Simpler centre panel than some of my previous versions - reminds me of a butterfly collectors wall cabinet...

Difficult to see but the back solid Tip Top Taupe butterfly is stamped a few times with wording to add some interest. A trick I picked up from the Stampin' Up! Tin of Cards kit...

A simple card in style that still packs a punch...

Timeless Elegance Gift Bag Punch Board Milk Carton

 

Few quick shares over the next few days... I have been working on re-producing some of the classics but with new & current papers ...

This is another Milk Carton made using the Gift Bag Punch Board. Oh dear...apologies...I have gone to find my tutorial to link... and it doesn't exist... oops... must rectify that over the next week or so...

A simple make for a special friend - who loves her dragonflies! So a quick add of one I had left over... my Awesomely Artistic stamp set arrives later today!

You've Got This! Double Box Frame Card for Fancy Fold Friday

A little Fancy Fold Friday treat for you today... a wonderful card sent to me by a fellow demo/team-mate/friend, Nic Baker using my Shadow Box Frame Tutorial and a couple of other ideas that together inspired her creation ... Firstly this card by talented SU! demo Dianna Gibbs and secondly this tutorial for the hinges...

So a stunning card to share with you... but not made by me! But I think one will be soon!! Too good not to make!!

Simply...the large Butterfly Basics butterfly

 Keeping it simple.... 

When the Butterfly Basics stamps & dies were released in the Spring & Summer Catalogue - there was a stunning card sample on the catalogue page that made me want the dies at the time... 

But I never got round to making my own.... 

So now I have used that sample as my inspiration for this simple little beauty... 

The butterfly was die cut out of the top Very Vanilla panel using my trusty Food Saver paper to ensure its quick release...

The Mint Macaron background card panel is stamped using Mint Macaron ink & the flower spray from For The New Two stamp set

The die cut Very Vanilla panel and butterfly are adhered separately to the Mint Macaron background layer and then the whole panel stuck to the card..

Finished off with a stamped and punched banner and a Metal Rimmed Pearl.

Love its simplicity... what do you think?

Swing Easel Card - Timeless Elegance & Watercolor Wings

Whilst pinning away on my favourite inspiration site (yes - Pinterest ) the other day... I came across an interesting looking fold... followed the link (to the Trimcraft site & their Card of the Month for July)... and had a go! Rather like the end result!

There is a template on that link but I quickly converted to a cut & score card... but more on that another day... I feel a tweak or two coming on to what I did over the next couple of weeks... but ...in the meantime... I had to share the original version....

Gosh I am late posting today..... but I just had to finish and share with you.... hence lots of shadow in the pictures!!

Loving lots of things I have used here... adore the Timeless Elegance papers and I am still loving all those butterflies!

And the Expressions Natural Elements used for the world "celebrate" are fabulous - so quick & easy to use - and a Tuesday Tip for you before I go - just colour them with your daubers, sponge or Aquapainter - or even an ink pad direct like I did! ( too lazy to go upstairs for my Early Espresso dauber...) Though I did have to rub off lots of ink on scrap paper for quite a while before putting it on my card....
