Tuesday Team Treats Trio... For The Record Flap Boxes

Bet you cant say the first half of the title on repeat for very long!!! What a tongue twister...

So I thought it high time I said hello and thanks to some very special & creative ladies I know... namely my team of lovely and super talented Craft Therapists!

As I do like to send out a little treat from time to time... just 'cos! That is .. for no particular reason... but just to show my appreciation... and to remind them they are "awesome"...

So to give them a sweet treat... the For The Record Flap Box Treat Holders remained the order of the day... but brightened up this time round...

Love these even more in these bright and happy colours... in Coastal Cabana, Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia... Hope they do too... Enjoy...

Click HERE for the Flap Box Treat Holder Tutorial.
And oh... as I forgot to mention this before... the papers used are the retired Merry Music papers from 2017... which seemed so perfect as these sheets have either "catherine wheel" shapes or music notes...

Oh and I do have a few extra sets of liquorice catherine wheels left if anyone would like to join my team during the Sale A Bration offer of 2 extra free stamp sets... and have one made especially for them... LOL!!

Genuine Gems - but not as we know it!

So some people seem to like ...and some loathe... the AWESOME word in the Genuine Gems stamp set...
So I came up with an alternative plan! Congratulations care of Flourishing Phrases... in a die cut Stitched Rectangle...
So now you can add pretty much anything!

Magnolia Lane Double Point Card

Loving all the Double Point cards around on the web using the Stitched Nested Labels dies... a perfect match of card design and product!!
So thanks to the originator of the use of this concept this time round... which I think may have been Phyllis Shively &  Lisa Curcio here... who shares a video tutorial for you too...

Though I believe the originator of the card fold "way back when in 2017" is the talented Jeanie Stark who can can be found here...  along with her tutorial...
OR just "Google" or "You Tube" A6 Double Point Card if you need a video tutorial for an A6 version (from A4 card)
.
Though my "brain" can't work out the appeal of the extra front part that is formed... aka the flap part!
Apart from the fact that it does give a bit of dimension... so I will just be sticking that down! Which still keeps the extra dimension if you use 3D pads...
Front greeting from Genuine Gems... love it!
And inner greeting using my chopped up Happy Birthday from Perennial Birthday... the one at the bottom left below... that I chopped and can mount one word on top of the other as for this version... or side by side for the designed long version!
Oh and Click here for a simpler version of this Double Point card... aka the Deconstructed one!

Everyday Hero Card

Loved this swap card from Karen Watts at KraftingK that I received at the last Team Training... though I just had to mount it onto a larger card so it had more presence on my display... hope you approve of my little addition Karen!!!

Stunning card in the flesh... a real eye catcher...
Pop over to Karen's for more details on what she used... tell her I sent you!!
And I can't wait to play with this Everyday Hero stamp set for myself.... a set I have bought just for me! Release the inner child...

You are Awesome Double Z Joy Fold Card

Remember this card I posted earlier with the tutorial...
Well in true Craft Spa class fashion here is the same card with the papers flipped.... great card/sentiment for a success in exams or life! Who doesn't want to be saying this to their kids....

And a "little detail that makes a huge difference" that I didn't point out before about the Marquee Messages image... I coloured in the shadowed areas with the corresponding colour of marker pen... makes it all really pop - and go 3D effect!
Not sure it shows up very well in the photo... but I am sure you will get the idea!
