CAS Marbled Embellished Ornaments

Following yesterday's post... here is another CAS marbled bauble - aka Embellished Ornament... Without the greenery - and in a different colourway... Mint Macaron, Lost Lagoon & Night of Navy...

And here is the little trio of cards now shared on this blog using this technique/colourway...

And just so you can see 2 of them better... here you go...
Note that the Dove is just coloured with markers - no marbling required... (also Sahara Sand instead of Night of Navy)

Swing Easel Card for Fancy Fold Friday - Shut the Door!

Seeing as my Swing Easel Card Tutorial  has proven SO popular for the last 2 weeks. (actually quickly shooting up to no 6 in my All Time Top 10 posts)  I thought I would have a go at another variant.... re-sized to suit my favourite Hearth & Home dies.
So here you have one resized with a narrower centre panel for the perfect front door to swing open and shut! (well more like up and down really!!).
My favourite trio of stamps and matching dies used again - Hearth & Home, Festive Fireside/ Fireplace and Peaceful Pines
And the gorgeous NOEL Label Bracket from a new Autumn Winter Catalogue hostess stamp - Antique Tags. Love this one!
The trees are dressed with Dazzling Diamonds glimmer behind the die cut holes to the left - and stamped with Versamark/Heat & Stick  plus Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the right... wish I had gone red - but hey - next time!
Now I know that a lot of you will be surprised to a Real Red front door on here.... but I will let you into a secret - last year all my ladies changed my white front doors to bright red ones for their Christmas cards.... so I thought I had better brighten things up a bit for them this year.... But don't worry - I am sure my next front door share will be white....
And last - but not least - spot the boughs under the NOEL tag - that is just a snippety snip of the Festive Fireside/Fireplace boughs and mount either side...

But a tip for you… don’t add glitter to the tree when you have already die cut out the tiny circles “tinsel/baubles”. They show well enough through to that Cherry Cobbler wallpaper behind….  In my opinion… I spoilt this card by adding the red glitter to the Tree … Just sayin'!!! ... and I also had to keep re-applying as the glitter glue sank into the tiny holes!!
So a quick remake and quickly edited to add… here you go …same card without that extra glitter…

See the tinsel/bauble effect – that’s just a quick secondary cut with the die in the Perfect Pines set!

Peaceful Pines meets Snow is Falling

Another Sneaky Peek of the new stamp set... Peaceful Pines...
A fabulous collection of trees, accessories & greetings...along with the fantastic set of Perfect Pines co-ordinating dies in a Stampin' Up! bundle (which means 15% off for the bundle!)
This is a set that has attracted the eyes of most when first viewing the new 2015 Autumn Winter/ Holidays catalogue...so I will be running a Peaceful & Perfect Pines class in due course...so there will be more projects to share using this set in the future...
Not that you can really see in these photos... but the Snow is Falling embossing is finished off with highlights (blobs!) using my trusty Dazzling Details...rather therapeutic! Giving texture, glitter and dimension all in one go!

And on a final note... the 2015 Autumn Winter/Holidays catalogue is revealed to the world tomorrow, 1st September ...so don't forget to come back tomorrow and check it out!!

I will also be sharing a project or two made with my favourite product from the new catalogue! Warning...I have got quite carried away with one particular product!! Anyone like to take a guess which...
