This year I found it VERY VERY difficult to choose which to pre-order... I LOVE so many... personally I think it is the best Christmas selection ever!
So without further ado... here you have 2 of the new embossing folders... Snow is Falling and Woodland.
Paired with the new Christmas Greetings Thinlits dies and accompanying stamp set Holly Jolly Greetings... love all these greetings...they really all work well with each other...
And just in case you were wondering which embossing folder is Snow is Falling...here it is used on its own... for the Super CAS version of this card!
I then inked and embossed my Woodland embossing folder... then cut out a tree ( from the whole embossed forest of trees!!) and added it to the card. Added a quick star bauble and job done!
Now the colour combination for this card was set by our Wade's Weekly Warm Up! Team Challenge- our lovely (and ever-so-colour combi-clever) Julie Wade set us the colours of Basic Black, Whisper White, Gold... and finally Crumb Cake .... which I then immediately switched to Tip Top Taupe...
I could pretend that I had no Crumb Cake... but that would be a lie! The honest reason is that the tree looked more defined in Tip Top Taupe.... so I made the switch... design led! So now you know!
So remember the Autumn Winter Catalogue goes live 1st September... but if you can't wait for your Christmas stuff till then... you can always join up with Stampin Up!... as you can select pre-order items as part of your Starter Kit....
Please do not hesitate to contact me for your own copy of the Autumn Winter Catalogue if you have not already had one in the post from me...
