3D Thursday - Chocolate in a Suitcase!

Just sharing a lovely project made for me by fellow team member Nic Baker...

Isn't this gorgeous... using the Petal Passion papers and Petal Palette stamps... papers only available for another week (or while supplies last if sooner!) Petal Palette carries over... but not as the stamp & die bundle with that 10% off if you order before 31st May....
Nic is a real love... she always makes me and gifts me a treat when we see each other at the 6 monthly Stampin' Up! On Stage events... her way of saying thanks for all the projects and "stuff" I share on here... I know she finds some it of it useful! Love that my shares inspire others!

Again thanks Nic... simply stunning... and the chocolate was rather yummy too!!!

Petal Passion & Palette Double A6 Card

A really simple but WOW Double A6 Fancy Fold... take 2 A6 cards (or A2 if you are in the US) and stick them together in the centre... and this is what you get...

Decorate as you see fit... panels of Petal Passion papers here on a Pool Party or Old Olive mat... with a bit of Stampin Blends action to really make them come to life (or Stampin Markers  whilst the Blends are out of Stock... coming back in May... ) ... using Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive...
Finished off with a stamped Petal Palette greeting and flowers on a Stitched Shapes Oval... and some Stampin Blends or Stampin Markers coloured 1/4" Organza White Ribbon at the sides...
Thanks go to my fabulous upline, Julie Kettlewell... as this is another of our lovely Quarterly Training makes... and a card fold that I will definitely be repeating at a class coming soon...

Petal Palette & More Framed...

A lovely piece of Home Decor for you today...

Take a cheap wooden Ikea Albrunna frame... colour it up using a baby wipe and Whisper White craft ink... now that's SO much better...

Add a Whisper White panel of Petal Palette stamped and coloured images using Pool Party, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry... taking care to not stamp them too close to the edge of the white panel! As the frame then covers the edges...
Stamp and die cut a few more flowers using the Petals & More dies... then trim as required...and 3D foam adhere to add depth...

Thanks to Julie as this was one of our last Quarterly Team Training makes.... Lovely project to enhance any home...
Though gasp... I have just realised that I forgot to add the finishing touch... of randomly placed Tutti Frutti Adhesive Backed Sequins in Pool Party & Old Olive... the Old Olive ones being Lemon Lime Twist sequins coloured with the Old Olive Stampin Blends marker... so click here for Julies blog post showing the more finished article!!

Petal Passion & Palette Bridge U Fold Card

Apologies that yesterday's Happy Easter post was late... techno-bomb!!

Now who said these Petal Passion papers were just black and white!! Reckon that this card might be bright enough to dispel that myth...

U Fold card... aka Bridge Fold Card... for which the tutorial can be found here....  though this time I only used the one box section/insert for the birdie perch.... so that was scored at 1.5cm from each side from a 11.5cm x 2.5cm high panel...
Spotty papers coloured with Blends or Markers... back paper panel brayered with Pool Party and stamped with Old Olive marker thumped veins on Lemon Lime Twist inked leaves... and a couple of extra leaves stamped separately on Whisper White and then fussy cut...

Memento Black Petal Palette stamped images with Stampin Blends colouring of leaves (Old Olive) and flowers (Rich Razzleberry & Pool Party) and then die cut with the Petals & More dies

And lovely die cut Petals & More frame in Pool Party (under the Classic Label punched Thoughtful Banners greeting to the bottom right hand side)

Petal Passion Small Square Double Gatefold Card

Another of these Small Square Double Gatefold cards... simple to make... simple to decorate... but a WOW in the flesh...

I used the Petal Passion papers and the co-ordinating Petal Palette stamps & dies bundle on this version... with a bit of help from Rose Wonder and Perennial Birthday for the sentiments... as they both happened to be out and on clear blocks... and the 2 sentiments worked well together...
And this version used the largest Stitched Shapes square... though personally I prefer the next size down... as used on the Springtime Foils version shared a few weeks ago...

Love that you can leave these papers black & white for the neutrals-loving-folk but can simply colour in for those that like their colour! Using Stampin Blends or your Many Marvellous Markers... Though I used my Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Bermuda Bay Stampin Blends on this card...
Though I did first Sponge Brayer the centre piece of paper with Soft Sky... a lot faster that way! Just be aware that you can't then get away with Pink Pirouette or the palest colours for your flowers!! Yes that is why my light Bermuda Bay flowers on the central paper have a "strange" tint to them ...

Want to make one of your own... then just click here for the Tutorial(s)... for A4, US Letter and 12x12 cardstock... though my next one in March classes will definitely be using the 12x12 version... as so much simpler!
And I should have taken a photo... as Jill brayered Lemon Lime Twist in class instead of the Soft Sky... and it looked fabulous! Lovely and fresh... and just right for Spring...

Plus a stamped mat on the inside...
Sorry for such a late... and quick... post today...  needs must!

Another Petal Palette card using Colour INKspiration challenge #125 colours

As I said yesterday... I liked this colour combination so much I had to go on and make a couple more cards whilst everything was out...

So a simple aperture card today... using the Sale A Bration promotional Tutti Frutti Cards & Envelopes (which can be yours for free with every £45 ordered) These are rather nice!
As Stampin' Up! says... Let these spring-colored card bases and envelopes inspire you to make fabulous projects!

* 16 preprinted card bases and envelopes
* 4 each of 4 designs
* Folded card: 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" | 14 x 10.8 cm
* Envelope: 5-3/4" x 4-3/8" | 14.6 x 11.1 cm

Coordinating colors: Basic Black, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, Pool Party
Again the card mainly features the gorgeous Petal Palette bundle... though this time I have coloured in the "main event roses"... colouring details in yesterdays' post...

Picture Perfect Birthday greeting on the largest Stitched Shapes die cut square... and the aperture/frame is cut using the same Stitched Shapes square and the largest scallop square from the Layering Squares dies...

Finished off with a Stampin Blends coloured piece of White Organza 1/4" ribbon... I think I may be using quite a lot of this ribbon as it colours so beautifully and easily...

And here is a photo of my INK spirations colour challenge Petal Palette duo... lovely and fresh... and creating a very happy corner in my display...

Petal Palette for Colour INKspiration Challenge #C125

So a New Year brings a new intent and some changes to ways of working... So I have decided to do as many a good Stampin Up! demo does... and start to enter a few creative challenges during 2018...

So first up... a colour challenge... care of the Colour INKspiration Facebook group... Tricia Raineri chose this yummy & summery inspiration pic for #CI25. And we could also other neutrals such as Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Sahara Sand or metallics in the challenge project.
I can't tell you how happy I was working with this combination... light, bright, summery and right up my blues and greens street.... love it! So much so... that I couldn't stop with just the one project that I entered for the challenge... so more to come...

But for today... my entry to the Challenge... a small Bridge U Fold card as per this Tutorial I shared last year... though I only used the one box section/insert for the birdie perch.... so that was scored at 1.5cm from each side from a 11.5cm x 2.5cm high panel...
Featuring mainly Petal Palette... a lovely stamp and die bundle...
Along with Tutti Frutti papers... which have a fabulous range of colours on the "plain side". Great 6x6 pack to have in stock...
Stamped greeting from Picture Perfect Birthday... a greeting that I just can't stop using...
And finished off with a doubled die cut greeting from the fantastic Sale A Bration promotion die set, Celebrate You (yours for free with a £90 order) and which is, for the first time, a Sale A Bration  item that will continue for sale into the new Annual Catalogue come 1st June so long may it reign!
And some details for you...

I didn't colour in many of the flowers and leaves as I preferred the lightness of the marker duo inked flower images... but where I needed them... I used the Lemon Lime Twist watercolor pencil found exclusively in the Lots of Happy card kit... and just a Blender Pen and Night of Navy ink pad

The long leaf spray was inked in Lemon Lime Twist... and "marker thumped" with Old Olive to produce some texture/veining... and then fussy cut! The other images being die cut using the Petals & More dies...
Come back tomorrow for another bright and summery card to lighten your day... which I think we all need with all that white stuff tumbling down outside round here....

Something else new to share... Petal Palette

Just sharing happy post with something special for me again today...

Another card made for me using a gorgeous new product, Petal Palette from the 2018 Spring Summer Catalogue... thank you so much Julie (one of my lovely Stampin' Up! sisters) ... such a beautiful card...

This was also made to celebrate the special milestone of mine... though I think it is easier to spot today than on yesterday's celebratory eclipse card...
For the first time  in Europe... Stampin' Up! published The Top 50 Demonstrators in the UK for the last year... and I was featured! At no. 31...

To say I was surprised to be in the Top 50 - and amazed at no. 31 - and so proud - is an understatement... particularly as last year was not exactly my best Stampin' Up! year to date... lots of other things decided to get in my way! All year! So a real WOW for me...
