Something Borrowed Tri Fold Mini Book

Artisan Embellishments & Something Borrowed TriFold Mini Book by Amanda Bates at The Craft Spa (1)

Staying on the projects made at my various workshops run last week. This was another project we made at my lovely All Dayer on Saturday.

A mini book using the Something Borrowed papers and featuring the Artisan Embellishments kit.

Though I had to laugh as I had to own up for my determination to use the Artisan Embellishments kit….. see that gorgeous die cut rose panel on the front cover… yes for those… but I could only use one of them in the project…. the other one was for another use!! But more on that another day….

This project is a re-make of a mini book I had designed previously – one that has always been one of our favourites over this part of the Stampin’ Up! world  – but in these papers – well I was in heaven! And luckily so was everyone else!

Add the new Our Perfect Day and co-ordinating For the New Two stamp sets – and what a perfect gift for a Wedding – or for a special Wedding Anniversary…though the JUST married sentiment would have to be changed for an anniversary!

And I have to own up to particularly loving the stamped and cut-in-half doilies on the outer page sections. They lift up so you can still slide a photo under if needs be…. such a delicate addition!

Now I am hoping that I may have some more photos of this book to share in the near future … as everyone made the outer book cover in different colours as I thought it was better made from the slightly more robust coloured cardstock… so – instead of the Whisper White in my sample. We had Blackberry Bliss (wow!) , Blushing Bride (dreamy) and Rich Razzleberry (rich!)– all of which looked stunning – but – silly me - I let them all go without taking any photos!!

Fancy making one of these for yourself…

Are you local? (I am between York & Harrogate in North Yorkshire in the UK) Please feel free to book yourself and friends in for a workshop here at The Craft Spa.

Not so local? I can write up & publish the tutorial if there is enough interest…. so please just register your interest for now….

Yes I am... It was on my list for this week with a new book using some beautiful new papers... But this weekend's accident will probably scupper that... So sorry it has taken me so long! But I will get there... It is at the top of the list....
