Tuesday Twofer - Sentimental Rose

Another couple of alternative cards using the Sentimental Rose stamps and inks provided in the Basic Kit...

With extra decoration on the inside too...

Same colourway - Gray Granite, Costal Cabana, Old Olive and Whisper White - just in different orientations...

Using the Gray Granite with the flower and leaf stamps to create the background makes for a stunning effect.... start with the flower and then remember to fill in the gaps with the leaf stamp... I forgot until afterwards!!!

Introducing Petal Promenade Papers & Suite

Now the Petal Promenade papers were one of our Quarterly training raffle prizes... and they were not as any of us expected... Definitely a paper that you need to look much more closely at... as there are a ton of features that you wouldn't expect... all of which makes for some easy crafting...

First up... Stampin Up have just shared a video on the inspiration and process behind the design... just fascinating! Well worth a quick watch...

Super CAS Thinking of You Floral Phrases Cards

I don't think you can get much simpler than these... but they say what you need to say when you need to say it!!! Using Floral Phrases and hostess Time of Year stamp sets

 Added 3D'd roses on the first one for a bit of extra dimension...

Night of Navy Rose sprays second stampings... so wording more vibrant...

Rose Red Wonder Thank You ...

Easy little clean & simple Thank You card care of the Rose Wonder dies, a Rose Red mat and a couple of Pear Pizaazz scraps!

White top mat was die cut... stamped... and then the die cut rose and leaves popped back into the hole...with a couple of Pear Pizzazz scraps trimmed & popped behind the leaves areas before it was all stuck down onto the Rose Red mat...

Now I have to laugh at yesterdays' post... for some reason there was only 1 photo of the card posted... rectified at about 8pm last night... so there are a couple more shots now!

Stacked with Love Chocolate Rose for Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day!

Just popping on to share a simple make for the 2 boys in my life! Though watching them try to get into the chocolate rose was a hoot!! Rather well sealed at the top…. which I knew – because I had planned to change the leaves in the tube…and I gave up trying to get in…..

Couple of chocolate roses I picked up from my favourite bargains store! Wrap Stacked with Love paper around them. Made a bow using the Bow Builder Punch. 5 minutes later & there you have it!

And a couple of Tiny Treat boxes – one of which I shared earlier – crammed full of yummy wrapped chocolate hearts & caramel hearts. Two happy boys today…. 

But it was a shame there wasn’t enough room for all the chocolate when I packed them….yum!!
